NPQSL is for those who are, or are aspiring to become, a senior leader with cross-school responsibilities such as an experienced middle leader, a deputy headteacher, an assistant headteacher, or other senior staff.

This includes those who are, or are aspiring to be, a senior leader with cross-school responsibilities e.g. a Director of a Teaching School Alliance.

Outstanding Leaders Partnership (OLP)

The Outstanding Leaders Partnership (OLP) is a collaborative partnership of schools, teaching school alliances and multi-academy trusts licensed by the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) to deliver National Professional Qualifications.

Over the past five years OLP have trained more than 3,000 school leaders from over 1,300 schools nationally and have a network of more than 50 teaching school partners contributing to the design and delivery of our award-winning qualifications.

Gain 80 Masters credits towards an MA in Educational Leadership with Chester University

The qualification has a flexible combination of blended learning and support opportunities that includes face-to-face sessions, online learning, leadership learning groups, dedicated personal tutor and peer support. Candidates will complete three modules covering three learning areas: Strategy and Improvement, Teaching and Curriculum Excellence, and Managing Resources and Risks, each facilitated within a 4-week period. All focus on improving the effectiveness of leadership practice and developing behaviours around commitment, collaboration, personal drive, resilience, awareness, integrity and respect.
